We are getting married in Tuscany and I was wondering the requirements on a SIAE music tax? We will not be having a DJ or band and just playing songs from our iPod. We are bringing our own speakers from home and the wedding is at a private venue, which we will be renting out entirely. I was...

We are getting married in Tuscany and I was wondering the requirements on a SIAE music tax? We will not be having a DJ or band and just playing songs from our iPod. We are bringing our own speakers from home and the wedding is at a private venue, which we will be renting out entirely. I was wondering how we go about paying this tax since we are not having a wedding planner? And if its something I need to take care of once we are there, or before we arrive? Or will it even matter since it's such a small event and we are playing music we already purchased?

    You could check with SIAE themselves. Their website is SIAE.it they will give you accurate information.
