Shuttle transportation to& from reception- timing??

Hi! So I’m starting to get quotes from shuttle drivers, but I was hoping to get some insight from other members regarding timing for shuttles. Our cocktail hour is 5-6 pm, and the reception is over at 11 pm. We have two hotels, but they are right next to each other and they are both 10 minutes away from the reception site.

We hired a shuttle for our guests that provided service for 2 hours before the ceremony started and during the last 2 hours of the reception.

So if you had it two hours before the reception, did that cut into your cocktail hour? How many guests uses the service, do you know?

No... We had shuttle service from approximately 3:45pm-5:45pm and again at 9:30pm-11:30pm. Our wedding ceremony started at 6:00pm. Cocktail "hour" was about 6:30-7:00 (we didn't take very long for photos, so we got to partake in that and go right into the reception/dinner). Then the reception ended around 11:00pm.

We just booked our shuttle service and we are doing 2 hours before the ceremony (Bridal party using the same shuttle and 1 trip for guests as the venue won't allow people to arrive early) and 2 hours at the end. Our reception is over at 10 so we will start the shuttle service from 9-11.
