Hi. I am not yet "engaged", although my fiance-to-be and I have been planning for the last few years. I am currently in a wheelchair, and I'm waiting for surgery so I can walk down the aisle, and dance on the happiest night of my life. He gave me this wonderful .75 ct Marquise cut promise ring with radiant cut accents.

It looks like a luminous angel glowing on my finger. I'm so in love with it.

DH calls our dog my "promise puppy". (Promise rings weren't really our thing and we personally weren't together long enough before the engagement ring for it to make sense to me, but to each their own.) He says he wouldn't have gotten a dog with me if he wasn't planning to stick around and that he figured that showed his commitment.

I do not have a picture of mine on my work computer but i got one! I got my promise ring at 6 months and my e ring at 1 year 9 months and we will be married at 2 years and 3 months

That is a beautiful ring!!! I don't have a picture of mine but FH got it for me at the Aloha Festival around our 4 month mark. He proposed at our 8 month mark and we'll remarried at our 2 year! (:
