I'm curious if anyone is DIY-ing their place cards, and if so, what do they look like? I was going to do marble tile place cards, but I'm not sure now... my mom was going to do cricut for them but after a friend printed the names my mom got frustrated with the weeding and tossed everything. I...

I'm curious if anyone is DIY-ing their place cards, and if so, what do they look like?

I was going to do marble tile place cards, but I'm not sure now... my mom was going to do cricut for them but after a friend printed the names my mom got frustrated with the weeding and tossed everything. I already have the tiles so I might handwrite them myself, or pay a local calligrapher to do it. I kind of have my heart set on them and not paper, but my fiance wants me to do the paper. We'll see. Curious what other ideas people have/ are doing!

    Thanks! It was fun, had guests chatting with each other about theirs, and they got to take them home.

    I AM OBSESSED with these!!!

    My BM made us white marble tile table numbers (below) and then I already have (180 of) the black hexagonal marble tile place cards (also below). I found someone local that does the marble place cards on etsy. She usually charges $3 a tile usually, but since I already have the tile she's going to charge $1.50 per tile. I'm debating doing it myself. FH of course says it's worth it and he will pay for someone to do the calligraphy, but I like doing this stuff!

    I love your table numbers!! Also really like the black.

    I am crafty...I just have terrible writing and could not have tackled this myself. For $1.50 each, I would give that stress and headache to the professional! Mine were perfection and I am so glad I just went for it!

    Ya... I'm taking your advice!... I did a trial run of four tiles and decided I hated it and don't want to do it. Haha. Thanks for the reality check/ advice
