Show me your place cards!

These will be ours! I'm thinking about doing some purple and some burgundy to include both of our colors. I'm going to paint the holders silver, not gold like the inspo pic.

If you already have them I would continue to work with them. What if you printed out their names and used decopage to put that on them?

That's not a bad idea at all!

My fiance said he will pay for a calligrapher, haha, so I might go that route. But I'm going to think about this decoupage thing! super smart.

We did the traditional paper tent cards with a calligrapher writing the name and a sticker to indicate meal choice. This is how we displayed them.

Oh gosh. I hadn’t even thought about ordering place cards. Thank goodness for Wedding Wire 😅

We are not having place cards at the table if that is what you mean! They can pick any seat at the table physically. My FH is crafty with wood so he will make this board and we will have their names and table number written, decal'd whatever on the board with their shot glass on a hook! I found cute little shot glasses with handles that will also be for them to take home. Kids obviously do not get them but there will be a treat for them at the table they go to with their parents!

We placed ours on our favors. Our theme was coffee and tea so each person was giving a hand picked tea cup and saucer. I tied the name card on to the cups. We placed them at each table as a center piece. We had a seating key to direct them.

These are mine, obviously not folded and cut. The elk clip art indicates allergens so the servers are sure they get the right plate. So much of my wedding has been so elaborate, we went very simple on the printed stuff

I made little lobster bouys, displayed on a lobster trap (originally supposed to be on a fishing net but there was to much wind 🤣). Little nod to a low key lobster theme for a Massachusetts beach house wedding

I love these because they're s pretty and practical (YUM).

With our "Pirates of Caribbean" inspiration, I went to Disneyland to buy a bunch of Fortune Red cards at the fortune teller outside the pirates ride for just $0.25 each. Guests loved getting a personal fortune.

I did the marble tiles, but I ordered them off Etsy. She handpainted them and they turned out amazing. I would recommend having someone do that, if possible. I know my limitations and this was not something I thought I could tackle! Lol
