I love my engagement ring! It’s a rose gold metal, morganite pink stone, and a diamond band! It’s extra special because my mother who is a jeweler made it for me❤️ Share your rings! Can’t wait to see!

Everyone’s rings are so lovely! I would definitely be jealous if I didn’t already have the perfect ring for me! Campbell and I actually purchased my ring together, 8 months after his proposal, or I guess I should say, 8 months after we decided what year we would be married. We got it from Brilliant Earth, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s an emerald cut with tapered baguettes on either side, in total it’s almost 2 carats but the center diamond is about 1.5. This is the ring that I saw most growing up (in movies, tv shows, etc) and I’ve always idolized the emerald shape. While it’s a bit “old fashioned,” (I know, I know, everyone is hating on yellow gold this season), I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! It’s a lab diamond, which made me feel much more environmentally/socially conscious when we purchased it. I would say the ONLY downside to having an emerald cut diamond is that it has a flat “face,” so ANY smudges, water marks, etc are visible a mile away and completely distorts the shine and luster that it has when it’s clean. I feel like such a chauvinist cleaning it constantly😓. But again, I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
Also, the gold band that I wear on my pinkie was my grandmother’s wedding ring. She’s upgraded (like most of the world, lol) to white gold, and thus passed her old band onto me. It overjoys me to look down at my hand and see the trust that’s gentility been bestowed upon me. Whenever I see them together, especially during hard times, I think about all the love that surrounds my life. I never knew that inanimate objects could give me so much respect for the past and so much hope for the future! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post, I look forward to browsing through your pictures and reading your anecdotes as well! Aubrianna Abbema
I too half an emerald-cut. Mine is in white gold, but we purchased two diamond wedding bands, one in rose gold and one in yellow gold so that I would have a tri-tone ring. I wear a lot of jewelry and love the look of mixed metals. Also, yes, emerald-cuts seem to show everything and catch light much differently; but they sure are pretty when the light hits them just right. :-)
This picture doesn’t even do it justice 😭 My fiancé designed it, the second biggest stone was taken from my grandma’s engagement ring, and the band is a rustic hammered band. So much prettier in person though.
First off, your name is absolutely gorgeous, wow!Secondly, thank you so much for your kind words; I really can’t describe the level of pride that my grandmother’s and Campbell’s ring to give. The whole point of the ring is to be a symbol eternal love and commitment, right? In all honesty sometimes I’m brought to tears by the significance that it strikes me with. I still can’t believe that out of four granddaughters she chose to hand it down to me; and that all the fish in the sea, Campbell chose to put a ring on MY fin. ☺️ Again, thank you for your response and I wish everyone here the absolute best of luck with their wedding endeavors! Your ring is absolutely beautiful! I've never seen anything like that and the fact that your mother made it for you makes it so special! That pink stone gives me some inspiration for my band too...
So I have been a Pokemon fan since I was a little girl. We met when Pokemon Go became big and he noticed how much I loved the games. So he took it upon himself to learn and get into Pokemon to impress me. Thank you!
