Should my engagement photos match my wedding colors and theme?

You can do whatever you want. They don't need to match. I love the beach and fall as well. Since you love both, you could have the best of both worlds and have your engagement photos at the beach and your wedding in the fall.

No they don’t. Our wedding colors are navy gold and burgundy but we didn’t have any of those colors in our photos other then FH wearing a navy blue blazer. I wore a dusty blue dress.

My fiance and I did not wear our wedding colors in our engagement photos. I don't think it's necessary, unless it's something you specifically wanted to do.

That is completely up to you and your FH. Where do you want your engagement photos to be taken? You could also do multiple shoots in a variety of locations. It is completely up to you

They definitely don't need to match. I would just think of your location and go from there. We're getting married in early Spring and having engagement photos in Fall.

Ours didn't match at all! We got married in the fall and I purposefully planned our engagement photos for the spring. I wanted a lot of colorful flowers/spring landscape available for our photos.

They can but they definitely don't need to! We took our engagement pictures in the summer and wore bright colors and summer attire and didn't match our fall wedding colors of gold, blush, and burgundy!

You can do whatever you want. I think your engagement pictures should be more focused on matching your personality and not worry about your wedding colors but you can do whatever makes you happy

Of course not! We had fall photos done for our December wedding. We chose to incorporate the theme a little bit because it was a Disney Christmas wedding but that was only in some of the photos. (We has a sign with our wedding colors, Minnie and Mickey ears, Star Wars lightsabers, and Christmas lights) We also wanted to do Disney themed photos because it is something we both love not necessarily because it was our theme. (We were engaged there) All other photos had a fall background. Out of all photos the themed photos made up about 5 maybe 10% of the total engagement photos.

We did ours at the beach because I wanted to get married at the beach but for a lot of reasons that wasn’t going to work out lol. So I thought, at the very least we can get our engagement photos there! We did have a summer wedding so I guess the season “matched” but I would’ve done it there either way.
