Should i wear my ceremony dress ? (new wedding plans) 2

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing ok during these crazy times ..We had to cancel our May 2nd wedding but are still getting married by a JP... I don’t know if I should wear the ceremony dress (1st one) or reception dress (2nd one). We are having a living room wedding. We are planning on rescheduling for next year.. would you wear your big bulky wedding dress in the living room or should I go with the 2 nd one which was meant for dancing during reception ?

If you are rescheduling and don't want to wear your wedding dress twice I would wear your reception dress for your living room wedding and wearing your ceremony dress for your rescheduled wedding.

I’d go with the second dress for your living room ceremony , as it will most likely be a little more casual and you’ll still want to share photos. Save the other dress for when you have your bigger renewal/reception and want to have that big “WOW” moment!

I agree, wear your pretty but more comfy dress for your living room ceremony. Your wedding dress is for and you’ll be so excited to wear it for the big celebration!!!

I would wear anyone you feel comfortable wearing. Wear the one that makes you feel more of a bride.

I would wear my reception dress for the marriage and the big dress for the large event next year. You can still wear your reception/marriage dress to your reception and that would actually almost tie both events together. It would be so sweet to wear the dress you said "I do" in your living room to your big event, like just imagine how emotional it will be putting that dress back on when you are finally having your big party?
