Pretty sure that isn't legal. Why would you want to only do it over text? Why wouldn't you want to be in person with eachother on your wedding day?

Weddings can never be done over text. In almost all instances, you need to have both your FI and yourself there in person. Texas, Colorado, Kansas, and Montana are the only states that allow for weddings where one person is not present, and those involve someone standing in for the spouse who isn't present.
