Lol. I have the opposite problem I’m exactly a foot taller than you with huge feet so I have to HUNT to find feminine shoes in my size. Atleast you shirt files have the advantage of being seen as cute and dainty while on the other end we’re Amazon’s and Sasquatch. Embrace it !!!! Try to find a design pattern that’ll lengthen your frame and ball gowns is probably not the best for your height.

I'm 4'10... trying dresses was hilarious because of the sizes...hard to imagine the end result but that's what seamstresses do, they work magic. I have very small feet and I found that Betsy Johnson runs small so I was actually able to fit comfortably in her shoes.

My seamstress joking told me while she was cutting the bottom of my dress, “If you were any shorter I don’t think there would be a dress left to work with”. 😂😂

I’m just used to getting everything hemmed, my jeans, my work pants, any kind of dress. It’s easier to cut off fabric for short girls than to add fabric for tall girls. But it would be nice if they offered more of a variety. I really didn’t mind the veil being long on me. I do find it aggravating that all the pretty shoes aren’t made below a size 6. Luckily I found some I liked from China and they turned out nice.

My best friend is a foot taller than me and she seemed so regal on her wedding day! And no one makes jokes about needing a step stool to kiss your husband.

I'm 5'1", I had someone make my dress. And she did amazing. I have no alterations at all, except that now I've lost weight. I have a corset back so hopefully I can gain a few more pounds back before October! Here is my dress!

I never thought to have a dress made for me, but I intended to get a dress under budget, but I found one that was too cool, so I was at budget with the dress. But the alterations put me over budget.

I found this woman online, she has since closed her business due to some people being very unkind. My dress came from England and cost me roughly 750.00. I love it, sometimes I wish I had gotten black but I do love the purple. It's very different. I hope you love your dress. Its a shame how much alterations cost. But I understand the amount of work going into the alterations. I also had thought about a 2 piece dress, top and bottom which makes alterations a bit cheaper but not much.

I worked in a bridal store before and seen many women disappointed because they didn't stand up for what they loved. It doesn't matter who pays for it, the bride has to love it or she will have regrets down the road.

I am 5'0. I totally get you. Not only it's wedding dress problem, but a lot of clothes problem as well. It took me at least 7 stores visit before I found my dress.

I got my veil custom length. They didn't charge me anything extra for that.
