What kind of shoes are (or did) you wearing? I am seriously struggling with this! I hate heels and cannot picture myself wearing them on my wedding day, my FH is also only about and inch or so taller then me so I don't want to be too tall. I have a really long dress so I suppose it won't matter too...

Found these on FB marketplace and that’s what I went with. I had the shoes before I got my dress.

These aren't "heels" and they were very comfy. There's an advantage to using a very small heel in that you'll walk more elegantly. I also bought the cheaper amazon knock off version, and these were nowhere near as comfortable.

My husband is only an inch taller than me so I didn't want to wear heels either. We also got married outside in late November so I didn't want to chance the ground being wet or anything and heels sinking. I wore these beautiful sparkly flats I found at DSW!

I was in the exact same position! I usually love to wear heels, but after trying on about 50 different pairs, I knew I wanted to be comfortable (and am also super clumsy and didn’t want to trip walking down the aisle lol). I decided on lace Converse and couldn’t be happier!Shoes! 4

I wore a traditional dancing slipper, handmade of kidskin , with nothing hard. The sole is kidskin wrapping other layers of kidskin. From Denmark, but these look exactly like them. They were my something old, From the 1920's. A classic because they are so comfortable. Always available , classic design. Mine had turned a yellowy ivory, fine because my dress was pale gold.

Do they run true to size, big, or small? I want to order some but I hear mixed reviews with the sizing.

Bridesmaid dresses are pewter gray sequin while FH and groomsmen will be in navy blue. Working on blinging them up and possibly using ribbon laces. Converse from DSW!
