Shoes!

What kind of shoes are (or did) you wearing? I am seriously struggling with this! I hate heels and cannot picture myself wearing them on my wedding day, my FH is also only about and inch or so taller then me so I don't want to be too tall. I have a really long dress so I suppose it won't matter too much but I'm still curious what everyone else is wearing.

    Daughter was in a very similar position to yours. She looked for "fancy dress flats" and couldn't find anything she liked/found comfortable. When she can, she lives in Converse.... She finally decided to get a pair in the primary wedding color and we took them to a local T-shirt shop and had them customized with her new name and the wedding date. They were adorable and super comfortable. Under her long ballgown no one saw them except when she lifted her skirt to walk down steps and she was completely comfortable for the 12+ hours she was dressed for the wedding. The bonus was she loved wearing them on a regular basis in the months after the wedding -- she probably wouldn't have done that with the uncomfortable sparkly flats she was considering!     Here’s what I’m wearing (go figure they’re on sale now 😂). They’re super comfortable and 2” tall. Wedge so I don’t sink in the ground and can wear them all night.

    Don’t have photos yet, but I live in moccasins so I’m doing a glittery pair of moccasins since my wedding is in the fall. That’s what I usually change into anyways at cooler weather weddings so might as well get a nice pair and start with what I’ll finish in.

    I’m a big sneaker head and totally love my converse, so I got an ivory pair of all lace converse from Etsy. Ordered them the day after we got engaged 😅

    I’m seriously considering wearing bridal tennis shoes! Gonna be on my feet for a long time & am going for comfort. My FH is about an inch taller than me so I don’t want to wear heels. My dress is long so nobody’s gonna see. Something like this Shoes! 5

    I’m wearing a pair of short block heels from Badgley Mischka. FH is two inches taller than me as I’m tall myself so with his shoes we’ll be about the same height.

    4 inch blinged stilettos for the ceremony and first dance. I’m 4’11” and fiancé is 6’, I am trying to close some of the gap. For the rest of the reception I will be wearing Toms ivory glitter flats. So comfy.

    I’m wearing flats! I haven’t decided between Rothy’s Point flats, Tieks, or a bridal pair from Kate Whitcomb. I’m leaning towards Rothy’s because they’re pointed, eco friendly, and I can wear them a lot after the wedding too.

    I also hate heels and I'm just a couple inches shorter than my fiance! We are both wearing Converse because we were going to do that for Prom in HS, but my shoes didn't match my dress, so this time we are able to do it! I got custom converse and he is wearing black and gray ones! Plus I'll be so much more comfortable!

    I'm wearing flats. My wedding is outside and there will be a lot of grass walking so I didn't want to sink in. I had my bridals Monday and tripped on the stairs so it was definitely the right choice. I kept it simple and just bought blue ones off Amazon called Eureka USA and they're great!

    I'm wearing these...if they are too much for my feet after ceremony i will switch to silver flats (same color) for reception
