Shoes!!

Emma, on October 18, 2019 at 10:31 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Anyone planning on wearing flats? Did anyone wear them and have regrets? I was planning on getting custom converse or vans but I’m undecided. I could wear heels but I hate the look of super long dresses once everyone kicks off their shoes for the reception. I was planning on my bridesmaid to wear flats as well. Ceremony will be outside! Would love your feed back!

A lot of stores like David's Bridal carry "glam" keds and converse like shoes! Some have bling, lace or blue laces for your something blue! I think they're cute and look really comfortable!

I got the glittery Kate Spade Keds and I looove them. I didn't even consider wearing heels for the same reason.

I would just caution against making your BM's wear flats. It's totally cool if you want to - but they should be able to feel comfortable as well, and for some, that may mean heals. My personal preference is for heels anytime I'm dressing up. I feel more comfortable with my posture and just feel fancier.

For you though I like the sparkly keds or just other comfy sparkly flats!

I got these custom converse off of Etzy! My feet are weird due to diabetes, and heels tend to immediately cause me pain for the rest of the day. These have a tag on each shoe with our wedding date and my fh's name. I love them and can't wait to wear them under my poofy dress.

My ceremony was outside and my husband is only an inch taller than me so I wore flats. I got a super sparkly pair at DSW and loveee them! The only thing I will say with that is break them in!!!! Wear them around the house to make sure they're comfortable and your feet get used to them. I wore mine for the first time on my wedding day and they rubbed something fierce against the back of my foot, like rubbed it raw and I couldn't walk without it hurting for daysss. I should have worn stockings or put band-aids on to keep that from happening, but i didn't. So just make sure they're comfortable, not too stiff and you break them in.

I planned on also doing the custom converse or vans! I'm not sure if I'll go with the glittery route though as it wont really match our decor. I know vans allow you to upload a picture, so I thought about doing that but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money. Right now I'm debating if I could pull of tie dying a pair.
