Shoes on the big day?!

Yes! I wore clear heel protectors all night long actually. We had an outdoor ceremony (and photos) and indoor reception. You could also get a wedge or block heel if you don’t want to worry about the heel protectors. Here are the ones I used, they worked great:

They work unless the ground is VERY soft/wet

They work on solid ground but if it’s not solid you will still sink. I opted for a nice block here and they were super comfortable and easy to walk in.

What about block heels? That's what I'm wearing for the big day.

Go for comfort. You'll have to be standing a lot.
