Decided after work today I'd go by our local shoe store to get an idea of what size heels I'd need. I know one pair I tried on when I got my dress was a 5.5, but all shoes fit different. I had no intention of buying shoes today(just like when I got my dress). But after putting them on and feeling how comfortable they were I couldn't pass them up. Especially since they're the last in my size and style. I would have never imagined wearing these type of heels since I go more for a chunky heel or wedge on the rare occasion I do wear heels(umm hardly ever!!)
Ignore my ugly feet I'm in desperate need of a pedi! Plus I'm sure scrubs don't go well with my shoes. 😂🤣😂🤣
Those are lovely! A tip from someone in the know!: Wear your shoes standing still for 1/2 an hour to a hour (however long the ceremony will be). When you're walking around the shoe store, you don't get a good idea of what it will be like to stand for the ceremony & receiving line. You might also want to try dancing in them. Remember; comfort is key!

Thank you! I'll have to wear them a few nights while cooking dinner. Our ceremony is only 30 minutes and no reception. We are doing an elopement style wedding so after we are married we are getting a few pictures and then back to our cabin to change.
I've pretty much bought my entire outfit for the day at a thrift store. I found these rad shoes too. Perfectly girly without being uncomfortable on my fat feet. Found at a thrift store
Between the 2 of us, I think it's kind of silly to get wedding shoes that you'll only wear once. I got mine in a nice tan, closed toe style that will be good for work & other events too.

Yes!! I have a nice black dress that I had in mind when I bought these shoes. I had said from the beginning that I wanted stuff that I could reuse/wear again.
