Hey y'all!

This is my first post on WW (but I've been a silent stalker for awhile lol). Brides with champagne dresses; what color shoes did you wear/are you wearing on your day?

My dress is champagne with an ivory lace overlay and my girls are wearing teal dresses w nude shoes. I'm making teal, champagne, and ivory fabric bouquets and boutonnieres, and since my ring is white gold all the metals are going to be silver toned. (I originally thought teal shoes, but nothing I've found is even close to a decent match to their dresses or the flowers.) I was thinking sparkly nude, champagne, ivory, or silver but idk! I'd love to see yours!

@futuremrsL - Jacky and I have the same dress! Not sure how Jacky had hers bustled, but mine is 8 points. One above to make that little extra poof and 7 below that. They just put loops underneath where they wanted the bustle point to sit and then a tie below it. They're all numbered so they're easy to match. DB did my bustle and they somehow had all three layers together so they weren't bustled separately!

I have an ivory gown but needed a chunky heel for our outdoor (in grass) ceremony plus I don't want to trip so got these from shoes.com 25% off. Came to 39 bucks. Whitta by Dyeables

@FutureMrsQ2017- that's awesome, I thought hers might be but couldn't tell for sure!! Wow, that's great. And magic how they did all the layers together! I don't love bustles so I'm hoping mine will end up as pretty as yours, the tulle just falls so beautifully.

I had a pair of white shoes for years, then at the last minute (as in 5 days before the wedding), I decided to search for a different pair b/c I started to feel self-conscious about being so much taller than my husband. I lucked out with these champagne shoes on the Nordstrom clearance rack - with my big feet and all (size 11).

@futuremrsL mine I believe is called an under bustle hopefully they'll know by that term! I wasn't a fan of the other options either!

FutureMrsQ2017 not trying to make this widely known, as I've seen some negative comments on here about diy bustles, but I'll be doing my own with help from my sister and grandmother who are both talented seamstresses (my grandma made my mom's wedding dress, and her bridesmaids' dresses!). I actually thought I preferred over bustles lol but I love how the under bustle looks on that dress. Thanks so much for telling me how they did yours! I feel a lot more comfortable messing with it after seeing how great the dress looks bustled.

My bridesmaids are in navy so mine are navy. My dress is champagne with ivory overlay too.
