Shoe Help?!

Danielle, on February 6, 2022 at 9:34 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I am having a hard time deciding what type of shoes to go with my dress especially because of the champagne color. The ceremony will be outdoor in the summer so I'm leaning toward block heels or sandals.. any suggestions? Would rhinestoned shoes be too much?Shoe Help?! 1

I splurged on some block heels in "pearl" from BHLDN https://www.bhldn.com/products/camellia-heels-lt-blue?via=Z2lkOi8vdXJibi9Xb3JrYXJlYTo6Q2F0YWxvZzo6Q2F0ZWdvcnkvNTlGMUUyRTc because I knew I'd love to wear them again for nice occasions (and have no light colored dress shoes) 😍 I don't have the champagne color underneath as you do, but I do have a similarly shaped dress and I feel very comfortable in the shoes. 😊 You could also consider wedges! And don't really worry about what the shoes look like, most people won't see them so if you want rhinestones, go for it!!

Love your dress! I don't think rhinestone shoes would be too much. How do you feel about something like these

I’d either pick something that matched the lace, matched any accessories (maybe gold or rose gold?), or, for a pop of color, wear one of your wedding colors. I have three options, all heels though, that I’m debating between - (1) ivory with gold embellishments, (2) gold, and (3) navy blue sequins (my engagement ring is a blue sapphire, and my parents are wearing navy).

I don't think rhinestones would be too much, but I would be anxious about it getting caught on the lace, maybe? I agree with Samantha that I'd either choose to tone in with the lace, the embellishments, or pick a pop of colour rather than trying to match the champagne.

I do think if you'll be outside block heels or wedges are a good idea - not advice I've taken myself, but I do think they're a sensible choice, lol!
