Shoe color for bride

I found my shoes before I even went dress shopping. My shoes were sparkly champagne colored, and it just so happened I picked out a dress that was ivory with a nude underlayer so it worked out. But no one saw my shoes, so I would've worn any fun color had I found them first. If you're a shoe person, pick something fun!

Like Jennifer J. I found my shoes before my dress. They were only $14 so if I changed my mind it wasn't a big deal. They are sparkly gold/silver (depending on light). My dress is Champagne colored.

So did you girls get it exactly to match or just in the ball park? My dress is long so I don't know how much it matters

I also am wearing a champagne gown so I chose a metallic gold shoes.

Actually , it really doesn't matter since it wouldn't show anyway.

I found a pair of perfect Stuart weitzman bridal stilettos that magically matched my ecru/white gown. But then I sprained my ankle and realized I would be miserable in those shoes. I took them back and decided to wear a pair of burgundy pumps I already have and are broken in that match my BMs dress color. I am adding some sparkly bow clips to the front for pictures. FYI rhinestones and glitter get caught on tulle.

I decided to do silver glitter Toms, although if I can magically find some pink glitter toms before my wedding, I might do those instead Wedding colors are pink and grey.

Mine were bright pink because why not.

People say shoes don't really matter "because they don't really show" but I think this is totally not the case!! I really wanted to wear birkenstocks for comfort and I don't really wear heels or anything like that. I bought the ones I wanted and they looked awful with my dress! When you try shoes on with your dress make sure you walk around because shoes definitely peaked through my dress when walking.

I ended up wearing these awesome champagne flats I loved!!! And looked great under my dress!

I wore blue shoes! We did jewel tones, and so I went with bright blue.

My shoes are purple and my girls are sparkly silver. Both one of my colors
