I have never had shellac nails before but everyone says its the new in thing now... I am not sure which one I should do for my wedding... my nails are different lengths, some are short and some are long.. so not sure if the shellac would look good, but I work at a hospital so I am not allowed to...

I am not sure which one I should do for my wedding... my nails are different lengths, some are short and some are long.. so not sure if the shellac would look good, but I work at a hospital so I am not allowed to have gel or fake nails, so if I got them done for wedding even though I think they would look better I have to have them taken off before I return to work... what do you guys think?

I LOVE Shellac. I've had my nails done with fakes a couple times, and just hate the bulk. I like shellac because it lasts like fakes, but is still my real nail.

I will admit, like others said, it is a b**** to get off. But so are fakes, so I don't see the difference.

I did a glitter french, and this is the best pic I have right now of how mine looked. No bulk, yay! Smiley smile And I could actually use my fingers without looking like a moron!

I've never had anyone add anything to my nails to make them longer when getting a gel manicure. It's just like a polish. I really like it. Makes my nails look so shiny and lasts a couple months. Personally I prefer to not have too much white with a French manicure no matter what kind of polish it is. I'm always specific about that, and about the shape and length(rounded square, not too long).
