Sheath/slip Underneath Dress

Summervibes, on June 26, 2019 at 12:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
David Bridal’s recommends me to wear a sheath/slip underneath my dress to fluff out the dress and to avoid it “sticking” to me, do you think it is necessary?

I’m skipping the shop and petticoat, but my dress also has a built in lining under the skirt. (I also think I’m in the minority on here)

Do you like how it looks without the extra bit of volume? You don't have to buy or wear anything you don't want to. I did wear a slip under my dress and I also bought a tulle overskirt to make my sheath into more of an a-line dress. No regrets there but I wanted the volume. If you're comfy with how it is then skip it.

I think it depends on you and what you want and like. See if they will let you try it on with and without the slip, and decide for yourself what is most comfortable and looks best to you

    Hi there!

This is totally up to you and how you want the dress to look. If you want it with a bit more puff, you could totally add an underskirt. Many brides get them on Amazon.

I would recommend you try one on with your dress and see how you feel. This will definitely help you make up your mind Smiley smile

    What silhouette is your dress?
