With the current state of things, it is easy to become sad, depressed, fearful, apprehensive, etc. about our weddings. Recently I have found myself not as excited about the wedding/planning due to everything going on. Today, I was in my closet and saw the box that held our wedding invitations. On a whim I pulled it out and open them up and looked at our beautiful invitations. Immediately a warm happiness and excitement washed over me, and I was reminded of how excited I was just a couple months ago. So, rather than panic & focus on the “what if’s”... let’s share what made us so excited before this pandemic hit! Share pics of your venues and themes! Or share the favorite parts about your wedding... the flowers, cake, dress, bridesmaids gifts... anything you want to share!!

Our wedding is August 6th at 530pm. Our venue is beautiful and has a very romantic vibe to it. Our colors are white and gold. Our decor will have eucalyptus garland and candle accents. we have no bridal party just us two up there💑 Here are some pics of my inspiration and the ceremony pic is our actual venue and what we choose to have as decor🥰 Thanks again for speading some positivity I appreciate it!

Because I got laid off from work yesterday due to the coronavirus pandemic, we'll be cancelling our big reception since we won't really be able to make all the payments on time. We will continue with our elopement ceremony and look into going to a restaurant or something small. This is our venue and our possible invitations.

We are getting married August 27, 2021 on the St. Augustine waterfront. Our "theme" is laid back coastal elegance. Colors are mauve, dusty blue, ivory, and metallics.... really just nice light neutrals taken from looking at the inside of any oyster shell.
Gauze table runner.
Cake will have sugar pearls all over it. Cake topper is a row boat with the couple standing up dancing in the boat.
This is the actual venue. We will have a draped arch, but different florals and no garland on the ground. Candles will line the aisle.
Our guestbook is a pair of oars that once signed, we'll hang in our home.
Tables will be round with wine linens. Candles will be in tall seemed vases with blue gauze table runner (1st pic) bunched int he middle for texture.

This is my floral inspo, but will add fan palms and monsteras for greens.
