Whether it’s a success, a failure, or a plan, what are you DIYing for your special day? Share pictures of your projects, and maybe you’ll inspire another bride. Or we can suggest ways to fix what might be a “failure”. Let’s have some fun guys! I’m planning on using a box like this and painting it in...

I’m planning on using a box like this and painting it in our wedding colors to use for our ring box for the ceremony.

Wow! You did a great job on those! Are the signs done with a stencil?

Erin, Thank you so much!! I only stenciled the coffee sign. I stained it, put a white wash on it, placed the stencil on it and sealed it with wax. I figure once we by our own home I can use the sign in my kitchen 😁

Where did you find the black chalkboard? I am looking for something the ring bearers can hold. Thanks!

Love the candle sticks. If you don’t mind me asking - how much did it cost you to make them?

60 dollars?? I made 10 of them and single cast iron candle sticks were selling for 15-20 a piece at hobby lobby. I think mine are much better with a double candle holder and a bit more personality than what I could find store bought.

Wow! What a deal?! You did a great job. I’m going for an industrial / modern farmhouse theme & think they’d be a cute touch to add to some of our tables. Did you find a tutorial online? We’ve made some shelves out of pipe & wood for our house - We get so many compliments on them.

I'm an art teacher by trade haha. No tutorial needed. Bought everything through amazon in packs of 10. Everything is 3/4 inch and you'll need 2 straights per candle holder. Mine are 5 inches and a 1 inch connector for the elbow T. Just make sure it's all the same diameter and you'll be fine. Super easy to put together.
