Shapewear help???

Are you open to a corsett/boustier type item?
I know I wore one several times in high school when I was a similar size and never had a problem.
I think I got mine from Kohl's.
It's been a minute since I was in high school... or even wore a strapless bra.

Hi Ashley., I got my dress at David’s Bridal and my stylist put me on one of there bustiers I’m a size 14 40D she brought me a 44 C and it fits perfectly with my dress! Very confortable.

I would look into a longline/bustier type bra. Can your seamstress do anything with your dress? I'm a 36F, and my strapless dress has a built in, hidden corset, so I don't actually need any shapewear up top.

Are there any lingerie shops by you? Not VS or department stores, but legitimate small lingerie shops? I have one by me that imports a lot of bras from Europe that seem to fit way better, and I got properly fitted for the 1st time in my life.

View Quoted Comment My dress just came with it built in, but you can talk to a seamstress about if she can do something to the structure of the dress so there is more support. That should be an option, depending on the shape of the dress.

If you have a Lane Bryant or Torrid near you, the have great strapless bras for our size. My strapless is very comfortable and very supportive.
