Shapewear help!

I got the Honeylove Super Power Short:

I tried a cheaper David’s Bridal Short and it didn’t hold in my gut as much as I would have liked.

My mermaid petticoat helps to smooth my belly out. I personally wouldn’t want to wear the high waisted shorts with a wedding gown. Yours at least seems like less material and easier to handle all the layers in the bathroom, but I think I’d feel like I was redressing all over again if I had to redo the shorts. I would look for more of a slip-style shapewear. I saw a few that were strapless

I went to honeylove as well! I’m still waiting for mine to get here, but I got the same kind as Marisa. They’re not suppose to roll, I suppose I’ll find out once I try it on and move around in it

I'm an older bride as well. My dress is similar to yours but with shorter sleeves because I was supposed to get married in June until Covid hit. Anyway, I'm worried about my stomach area as well. Right now I have the David's bridal slip with built in tummy control. It's okay but if I can find something better I would be happier.

I just wore my honeylove.com -- super power shorts this weekend under a dress I wore for our wedding shower, it did NOT budge. Also, the crotch of it is essentially 2 overlapping pieces of fabric, when you use the bathroom and sit, they open (for a lack of better words). Mine kind of dug into my ribs a bit as the day went on, so I'll have to figure out a solution for that come wedding day.
