Shapewear for apple shaped body shape...do they stay up?

I'm a typical apple shape and carry my weight around my stomach. I am looking at this type of shapewear to wear under my dress. I have never worn the high waisted kind before but the support briefs always roll down on me. Anyone wear this kind? Do they stay up? Or do you have a better suggestion for...

I'm a typical apple shape and carry my weight around my stomach. I am looking at this type of shapewear to wear under my dress. I have never worn the high waisted kind before but the support briefs always roll down on me. Anyone wear this kind? Do they stay up? Or do you have a better suggestion for shapewear? My dress is strapless. Thanks!!

    Yes i absolutely recommend the flexees over spanx!! Just way too uncomfortable and it was way too hard to get them up... i didnt even want to think about going to the bathroom or anything in them. I hope you find a pair that works best for you though, sounds like there are a lot of great suggestions aside from spanx! 😊
