Shape wear help!

You look great in this dress and that train is to die for!! Congratulations on your engagement and "saying yes to the dress"!! I'm not a shapewear pro; I am literally doing a trial and error with different brands just for regular clothes. But I do like Spanx, they have briefs or slimming briefs.

You look beautiful in this dress! If the sheer bodice starts around the navel, I'd go with Spanx shorts like the previous poster mentioned and Spanx also makes a shapewear thong with a compression band that hits right above the navel and sucks you in enough to feel supported. My dress has a keyhole back and sheer sides and I'm self conscious too of my belly and this is what I'm going with. It was low enough to be hidden but high enough to hold me in if that makes sense.

I can't see your back that well, but look at Suit Your Fancy by Spanx with the clear straps.

SPANX THINSTINCS! I also have a lace mermaid situation. My fabric clung to the thicker material but this version of Spanx isn't AT ALL. Recommended by the alterations team at Vera Wang when I asked them
