Sex on wedding night?

I've heard that couples are so tired after the wedding. I would love to DTD but I seriously think it'll fail. Lol How about y'all?

Our wedding night will be spent with our family since our wedding is at a lodge that we are renting for three days. I can't imagine getting it on with our grandparents downstairs and our parents in the rooms next to us. Plus I plan on getting pretty dang smashed at the reception since we won't have to leave the property.

My husband and I ended up ordering pizza and I fell asleep eating pizza. Even though he wanted to consummate the marriage I was so tired that it did not happen till the next afternoon

We got to the hotel around 12:30 am. After being up since 8:00 am and the emotion and excitement of the day, we were both just too pooped to care. (Also it took me 20 min. to get all 75 bobby pins out of my hair!) We made it official in the morning when we were both re-charged. ;-)

I seriously doubt we will get it going on, will be toooooo tired considering the reception is supposed to end at midnight or 1am.

I can tell you from our own experience that it just wasn't realistic. I guess it depends on whether you need to stay to clean up afterwards and how late the evening ends. In our case, we only finished cleanup a little after 3am and by the time we got home and processed all our amazing emotions, rehashed the day etc, it was 4:30 am, we had both been up for 24h and we were both exhausted. We enjoyed it much more after sleeping in the next day Smiley winking

ETA because apparently emoticons appear as really intense punctuation

We weren't alone in our hotel room until 4AM that night. Nothing happened we talked about the wedding and passed out to be up at 9AM to meet everyone for breakfast. We didn't do anything till our honeymoon a few days later. We have been together 9 years. Not that important to us what day we screw.

I'm not stressing about it too much; we're staying in a hotel, so the morning after we will most likely order room service for breakfast and then have sex then if I had to guess.

We were too tired; had some great morning sex the following day though. Morning sex is always better for us anyway.

We did and I will tell you it was not our best haha! It was pretty much DH just pounding away while I laid there. He finished and he's like what's wrong. Ummm I'm freaking drunk and tired! No way I'm getting off tonight haha.

We planned on it. We were EXHAUSTED. But we did wake up the next morning and have sex.

I knew we wouldn't & we didn't. I thought DH would be too drunk, just like his birthdays (he'll talk about it but it won't happen). We had an after party on bourbon street then went & got beignets. We got to the suite showered and I got dressed up and purposely walked around a little, he loved it but he ended up passed out on the couch. We did it in the morning (also I figured we would) it was great. Considering we didn't get in until 5am anyway it still counts

I did have sex with my ex-husband the night of my first wedding, and FH and I are likely going to have sex on our wedding night as well, but 1) we don't drink and 2) we have sex basically daily anyway, so those 2 factors probably help us.

I think we mostly did it just to say we did it. Both of us were completely exhausted and passed out right after. The next morning though.. Smiley smile

Nope, we fell asleep. It's a long day, lots of emotions. We were drained.
