Because I am a DD, my seamstress keeps insisting that I need an actual bra for lift and shaping. But my dress has a very low back and I am having a very hard time finding one! I have tried like 6 different bras from various places and none works.

I am wondering if the sewn in cups might be an option. My dress is fitted but it lacks boning or a built in corset. I definitely can't go without anything. Advice?

Thanks all! My seamstress hasn't mentioned sewing in a bra, so I can't say if that's an option. There are DD low back bras, but the problem has been finding one with a low enough back.

For lack of a better option, I am going to try an adhesive style. (However, I have to say that a lot of the online reviews are not encouraging!! I am crossing my fingers.)

Thanks for all the great help!

I was told No, no, no!!!! for sewn in cups above a small C. It just won't look good at all and you'll be so uncomfortable by the end of the day- especially with DD. I'm using a local seamstress who specially makes bras for the individual since I'm a 36DDD. Maybe there's something like that near you?!

I am a DDDD and am having a problem finding sew in cups. Additional boning will be added but I would like cups as well. Suggestions?
