My venue does not offer centerpiece and decor setup/tear down services, and we do not have access until about 2 hours before the ceremony- which myself and family will be doing photos at that time. And I don't really trust my family to take down everything. Because after a couple drinks my mom is wayyyy out there. So I think the most responsible thing is to hire my florist (who is also a wedding planner), to do decor setup and tear down. Does anyone have any idea how much people typically charge to setup centerpieces, table numbers, and place cards? I'm totally unsure of how much is reasonable for this task.

If I were living close by, I would offer to do it. I have made design my second career. ....I'm sure if you ask your florist/wedding planner to do the setup and tear down, she would not charge you so much extra (unless she is your day-of coordinator too) because she is already taking care of the floral decorating. The price will depend on where you live and the amount of decorating that you want.

My day of coordinator is going to setup my decorations and centerpieces for me. The coordinator has an assistant, which helps. From what I've heard, having a day of coordinator is a must have if you want your day smooth and less stressful.
