Setting/finishing Products

Michaela, on August 5, 2019 at 5:51 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 4

I don't usually do face makeup. On a daily basis I only do eyeliner and mascara. However, I have been experimenting with foundation, bronzer, blush etc.. My question is about setting powders vs spray. Which one do you girls prefer, powder or spray? What's the difference between "setting" powders/sprays and "finishing" powders/sprays? Any recommendations on which brand to get if I like minimal/light coverage? Thanks!

Setting powder absorbs the excess oil and moisture. Setting spray is kind of like hairspray for your face, it keeps everything in place but it doesn’t absorb oil. Finishing powder goes after setting powder and can hide pores or fine lines. Most people don’t use both.

To really lock in make up I would try both! They have different sprays for various skin types. Skindinavia is tried and true, they make the ones for Urban Decay.

This is my favorite setting spray by Urban Decay. I've literally taken a shower after using this and my makeup did not move. Definitely would recommend.
