September couples! How are you doing?

9.23.21 here and feeling good for now! Most of the big stuff has been done for a while (venue, planner, hair + makeup, officiant, catering, DJ, florist, photographer, videographer, bartender, lodging all booked, save the dates sent!) so now it’s getting down to little details like cake topper, favors and other decor details, the rehearsal dinner, gifts for the bridal party, outfits for the ring bearers, working on vows, linen rentals, purchasing our alcohol, ordering our cake, working out travel details (destination wedding) and invitations. I keep feeling like I should be doing something but most things are on cruise control for another month or two at this point! Most anxiety I have is waiting for my dress to come in so I can schedule alterations but I know I’ve got a ways before that comes in so now I just wait! Lol!

09/17/2021! It’s coming up! Thank god for the WW app check list. I just keep going down the list as I go and have been able to get a lot easy stuff out of the way. All we have left are invites, our two kids outfits and seating charts and things we really can’t do till we are closer to the date.

I’m feeling like... we’ve booked everything we can at this point (cake, clothes, shoes, venue, band, celebrant, photographer, florist, hair and makeup, decor) and the only things left are things it’s too early to do - menu tastings, seating chart etc.
it’s good but it also makes me worry about coasting along and then getting a month or two out only to realise there’s a lot of things we haven’t done at all!
Is there stuff we’ve forgotten? Have we really booked everything? What have we blanked on?
So I have that same creeping sense of fear you have in high school or University where you’re wondering if you are totally on top of things or if you’ve forgotten a whole assignment.
