What size is your dress? The size really depends on the design and brand. I can get into multiple different sizes

I second the David's Bridal for under $100, also consignment shops? If you find one off the rack that could work

I sent you an email. Unsure of size, but if it will fit you can have the dress I was going to wear to my reception.

10-12 possibly 14 depending on size. I may have it under control thanks to a lovely lady on here!

David's Bridal has some beautiful dresses on sale right for $99 (and I believe you can order online and possibly ship to store?). I know they may not be your dream gown but perhaps in a pinch you will find something lovely?

Also, I know it wont be "new" but perhaps craigslist or one of the consignment sites may have something?

I agree that the seamstress should be making some restitution

    Best of Luck

I have this dress I am not wearing it needs a slight stitch where the tulle meets the dress, it was a sample dress and that's the only thing wrong with it and you will probably need to get it hemmed but it is a size 14 - fits like a 10-12. It's all yours if you want it! I am in Jersey, shipping wouldn't cost you that much!

Not me in the photo but wanted to give you real life photo. The site doesn't do it justice!September 7 wedding and no dress now due to botched alterations 1

I am so sorry you are going through this. You definitely need to take her to small claims court to get all your money back for the alterations and the cost of the dress.

The in-house seamstress that worked on my wedding dress also botched it, I didn’t get my dress back until 36 hours before I was leaving for my wedding and the bridal shop owner wanted to offer me a restaurant gift card for my troubles, my wedding dress fell apart on my wedding day and I missed parts of my reception. It is also tainted every memory I now have from that day because it reflects in all of my professional photos and on my wedding video. Bridal shops need to stop hiring subpar seamstresses. And making promises that they can’t keep.
