need to edit processional music a bit

need to talk to the mothers of bride and groom about lighting candle sticks

need to finish bubbles baskets

I know there are things I am forgetting here. But just cant seem to get my head together to figure out what things I am missing and really need. I mean there are going to be small things that I forget along the way that I can get put together quickly, but I am worried about the big stuff.

I have our rings, my dress fits, we have FH's outfit all things are paid for. Just losing my mind at this point.

It is so close, but still seems so far away!!

Still need:

pick up my ring

fittings of BM dresses

Final fitting on my gown

OOT bags (have the bags need the insides)

Decorate FG wagon

Final meeting with the Florist

Meet with Officiant

Decide on Signature Drink

Assemble the BP gifts

Mail out Rehearsal dinner invites

Pack for honeymoon

Assemble Flip Flop Basket

Most important- BACHELORETTE PARTY!! (August 25th)

I am sure I am forgetting some things, but I am suprisingly this list doesn't give me anxiety! LOL

I also need to get my marriage license.....

that might be a big one that I should not forget.

I really just have a ton of DIYS: cake toppers, veil, sash (arggh the most important one, I have to get on that!), table numbers, finishing up favors, various decor elements.

Non-DIYS include:

Confirm with pet sitter for day of wedding and honeymoon

Be sure our prescriptions are filled for honeymoon

Wrap wedding party and parent presents

Send finalized special songs list to DJ

Have programs printed! (arrggh another important one, thank goodness for this thread!)

Decide on ceremony readings

Purchase beer and wine (alcohol is already purchased)

Figure out a seating chart display

Create timeline, print and distribute to VIPs

Figure out what to order in for breakfast and lunch

Bring ring to jeweler the week before for polishing

Get more guest book markers

Yes, thank you Kristen, I too need the readings and alcohol and might have to hold off on getting my rings soldered together. I need this thread so badly, you women/men help me keep it together so much, thank you!!

I think this is it but i'm probably forgetting something! It's so hard at times with working, taking care of the house, step-daughter to be and planning this wedding... i'm very suprised that i'm not on the tv show Bridezilla....

A hair trial is what i meant. My fingers don't always agree with me but it's a test day for the hairstylist to see what hair style you would like for your wedding day. This way the hairstylist already knows what she had to do the day of.. less stress on you and the stylist.

Oh shit I still have to do that too...and plan where to go for the mini moon...and finish paying the caterer and the rehearsal diner ahhh @.@ wake me up on sept 14th lol

Oh, ok, I get ya now!!! I had my trial and left crying, she did a horrible job and it was nothing like the picture I gave her. Thinking about making her save extra time for my hair on the day of, because it will be perfect. If there is one thing I am picky about, it's my hair!!!

Kristina W. I know what you mean. My mom is a hairstylist but she doesn't want to do my hair for the wedding bc i'm to picky. So i am using her friend, who does really nice work... BUT i hardly never let anyone else touch my hair so this should be interesting. I go tomorrow so see how this will work out!

If my hair doesn't look perfect then i will not be happy and if i'm not happy them my FH will hear about it. lol Poor guy! lol

Looks like everyone has a handle on it! Here's our to do list:

Arrange tent rental and setup day before so I can make sure where we will have the actual ceremony. Hoping yard is big enough that we don't have to get married in the tent!

Get marriage license (Friday)

Officially talk to pastor (we have discussed briefly in passing)

Coordinate rehearsal dinner

Finish OOT bags

Finalize head count for caterer

First dress fitting (yes, I know I am behind on this!)

Other than that, I think we are good!

And FH keeps coming up with more names. I don't have any more invitations so had to go to Michael's and get a box to DIY.

Nickia I think you are doing great. My only concern for you would be the videographer.

I'm basically on the home stretch.

We received our song list from out DJ and just need to pick the music. My FH needs to get his second/last fitting on his tux and I need to finish our card box, I need to finish the favors & we just have to pay the last of the money we have owed. We have another meeting w/our venue/wedding planner and our photographer on the 18th. At that point we will schedule the rehearsal (rehearsal dinner is already planned).

I have a tote and have been putting everything on (or near) it to make sure it makes it into the car and to the hotel on the day of the rehearsal/day before the wedding. I'm staying at the same hotel as the guests (same location on our wedding night) which is also less than 10 mi from home. If we forget something, it isn't the end of the world.

I just can't get over that I will be married in 32 (31 in some time zones) from now!

Wooo we're almost there! 40 days to go! Hmmm so far the first things that come to mind are:

Finish my DIY toasting flutes

Get FH tux

Need my dress to be hemmed and add bustle

Get earrings

Finalize music playlist

Create wedding day timeline

Finish BM gifts

Marriage license (next week)

@ Linda how did it go with your invites? Have you been getting replies? I had to send out 3 more invites today.
