I’m having a garden wedding and sparklers will not be an option for our send off. I was thinking about possibly doing lanterns instead. Does anyone have memorable send off ideas they have used or heard of?

Glow sticks or fiber optic wands are a good alternative to sparklers!

Laterns always seemed like such a cool idea, but they are not good for the environment because they can start fires. But if you do go later route I would make sure to find ones that are biodegradable!

We are having a garden party too and will be doing bubbles. Ours is during the day though, lanterns are a great night alternative

We're using confetti made from leaves. I was going to get them on etsy, but my florist is just going to give me leaves from her other weddings, so that's free!
