Seeking advice for ceremony decor!

Michelle, on February 6, 2020 at 6:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

Hello brides! I'm getting married at Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise, ID in August, and I would love any advice you may have to transform this space into a whimsical ceremony space! We will be standing at the front by the pond (the big rocks are fountains), with 3-4 rows of wooden benches behind the stone benches. I would love to decorate the underneath part of the pergola, but I have no idea how! I would greatly appreciate any decor advice you may have!! Thank you so much!Ceremony space from where we will be standingSeeking advice for ceremony decor! 1entrance to ceremony space (I think this large flat boulder would be a good spot for some kind of decor, but not sure what)Seeking advice for ceremony decor! 2entrance to ceremony space (thinking about hanging welcome sign with rope loops over this fixed sign)Seeking advice for ceremony decor! 3ceremony spaceSeeking advice for ceremony decor! 4ceremony space from the back (guest view) The big rocks are fountains, they are just turned off for the winterSeeking advice for ceremony decor! 5

For the underneath of the pergola maybe you can find some paper lanterns with hooks? That way it’s all lit up and they would probably look super cute

Maybe some battery operated lights too? What kind of theme are you going for?

The ceremony start time is 3pm, so I wasn't sure if I should include lights or not. I don't have a specific theme in mind, but the grasses and trees surrounding it will be a vibrant green. I just want to make it feel romantic and whimsical.

Fairy lights make everything magical! lol so those have my top vote - lanterns (any color that goes with your color scheme obv) some hanging flowers/vines.. maybe on one of the flat rocks a pile of old looking / vintage fairytale books , floating candles/tea lights...

First off, wow! Your venue is gorgeous! I agree with the ladies above and think fairy lights will look great and maybe greenery on the pergola as well? I know it can get pricey so depending on what your budget is.

Please share more photos once you gather more ideas. I’m in awe of your venue and am envisioning the perfect wedding!!!
