Seeing another bride with your dress

I love seeing other people with my dress honestly. Maybe I would feel differently if it was someone I know though lol.

I've actually never seen my dress on anyone else, which is surprising to me. I'm glad I picked something less popular, but at the same time it would have been nice to see how other people chose to wear it!

I don't think it would bother me. My dress isn't anything elaborate. It's very basic so a lot of women wear similar dresses. The same exact one? I have no idea.... I don't even know who made mine lol I got it at a local bridal boutique

I've never seen anyone in my same dress. I will say though, the same dress on different body types can look so different. Plus hair, jewelry, veil, belt etc. can change how the dress looks a lot too!

I saw someone with my gown. She happened to use the same DJ I did too. But the dress looked completely different when I put it on. No shade but, I'm just sayin'.

Funny story. A girl I never met but my parents are good friends with her parents.

h and I were out and stopped to get something to eat. As our server was talking I was thinking "mm some of these stories sound familiar" so I asked if she knew my parents. She said yes, I told her who I was. Somehow we got talking to how we were getting married next year. As we were talking I told her the venue. She said omg so is my daughter! Asked our colors. Omg same as my daughter! Asked where I went dress shopping and if I had a dress. I told her where and she goes "good god I'll die now. She got her dress there too. Let me get a picture" she shows me a picture. SAME DRESS.

Coincidence upon coincidence. Me and her daughter connected on fb and have been chatting on and off about wedding stuff. She messaged me after the wedding and I gave her all these tips to help her day, make sure you do a sit test in the dress, bring a fan to cool off because under the dress does not breathe and you'll be a sweaty mess.

We laugh about it and it's great

I can't wait to see how her wedding turns out in a month.

I have yet to see another person with my dress. I am know people out there have the same dress and I would honestly love to see someone else with the same dress. Maybe not someone I am really close with but honestly, I love my dress and if someone else feels as good as I do in my dress than I am more than okay with that.

When I bought my dress the woman at the store said she'd only sold it three times before and everyone who works here gets really excited when someone tries it on because it's a little non traditional and no one usually does. I was super pumped about that until I tried to get ideas on how to accessorize it and literally there are two other people on the whole world of google i can find wearing my dress. Still fuckin love it though

Sorry if this comes across as rude, but who cares? It's not a high school prom. You shouldn't feel like you have to choose a wedding dress that'll be different from what everyone else has worn, or will be wearing. As long as you love your dress and feel beautiful in it, I say you made the right choice.

Tbh I almost chose my cousin's wedding dress as my "something borrowed" because I did think it was pretty (she got married last year). However, I simply found a dress I liked more.

I haven't seen anyone with my dress, however, I love when girls on here ask me where I go it/who the designer of my dress is... I couldn't care less if someone else wears the same dress. I love it, and everyone looks different in everything they wear. I would worry about it. everyone will still unique in the same dress.

One of my coworkers bought the same dress as me. I have since changed dresses, but not for that reason, just because sadly mine was ruined. I didn't care, although our coworkers made a stink of it. It really doesn't matter in my opinion. Everyone is different in their dress, and most everyone will add something to make it unique to them too as well.

Yes. A girl I went to school with got married a few months back and has the same dress as I do! I take it as a compliment that others like my dress as much as me

Flip side: I bought a discontinued dress off the rack at DB and I did some searches to see if I could find how other brides styled it and I came up with NOTHING. Zero pictures of my dress except for an old press release about the collection. It kind of made me panic like, no one else thinks my dress is pretty / worth it / anything special. Luckily when I tried it on again in my fittings those feelings went away.

I think it's awesome so many ppl share the same taste in gowns--kind of validating! I have yet to see another actual bride in my dress, which is a bummer bc the stock photos just don't do it justice

I actually liked seeing pictures of other women wearing the same dress as mine. I had some dress doubt at first, and seeing how pretty the dress was on others made me more confident that I had picked the right dress. Plus it looked so different on each person.

The only way I would probably hate this if I saw a bride with the same dress at my venue on my wedding day. Even then, I might just be like mehhh...

I still haven't seen anyone I know, or anyone on wedding wire with my dress, which shocks me because it's from DB. But if I did, I think my heart would kind of sink too.

Every bride makes their dress their own!!!! Don't over think it. I'm sure you look lovely.

But you don't even know these people? Like your friends and family most likely didn't go to these weddings so it's not like they're going to say "hey, haven't I seen that dress before?"

I actually loved seeing other people wear my dress. I practically stalked the BHLDN comments on the dress's page for pics of other people in my dress. LOL.

I haven't seen anyone with mine yet. That kinda makes me happy but I'm changing the dress enough that anyone who has it too isn't going to look anything like me in it.
