Second wedding big or small?

So F H & I have both been married before, we were thinking of doing something small and intimate this time around. We were thinking maybe 20-25 people is it selfish to do it this way?

Do whatever you want. This is our second wedding and have 95 guests.

I think that sounds lovely! I think you should do what makes you happy, although I will say that my aunt has been married 3 times, and each time she had a BIG wedding (100+ppl). By the 3rd time, a lot of family members were feeling a little resentful that they had spent time/money to travel to her wedding and buy gifts 3 separate times. Granted, they were all nice weddings, it still came off as kind of tacky (also, 3rd wedding had a cash bar )
