I actually hate bustles so much that I took the train off my dress. That being said, I like your bustle more than most of the ones I've seen. It's really subtle.

I wanted to do it also! But I was afraid to ruin it.

I don't think you would at all! Talk to your seamstress about it I got a "sweep train". Barely drags behind me. Just enough to be bridal. Yours has a simple straight hem without a lot of beading/lace. It should be easy to do!

You're getting married in two weeks. I'm getting married two weeks after. You won't have time to fix it, so be careful. That said, you HATE the way your dress is going to look more than half of the time. Life's too short and you and your dress are too gorgeous to be unhappy

I love your dress! I have this same fear, my dress has the same amount of train. Did the seamstress say why no other bustle is an option. You do lose some of the drama because you can't see as many of the 3D flowers with it bustle but, it doesn't take away from the dress. I'm sure your guests won't even notice. The dress is stunning bustled or not. You will get the full drama during the ceremony and however long you leave it down. You will want to bustle it if you plan on moving around or someone may step on it and ruin it.

I’m the same at PP - I am not a fan of bustles at all — you’re doesn’t look bad — but if you aren’t comfortable with it I would still look into different ways you can do it ..

Did your seamstress not give you an option during alterations? Mine wanted to bring mine up that high and I asked if there was another option. So she put it lower like the back of my knees.

It looks great! I think your bustle looks very pretty and subtle.

I like it. But don’t fret, almost all of your photos won’t show the bustle. You’ll likely only have it up during the reception but most of your photos will be from the front anyway. That dress is gorgeous! Especially the front and that train. Breathe.

Have you considered a French bustle? It would bustle under rather than over - just a thought!
