Seating Chart Poster??

Alphabetical! And be sure to show a "map" of the reception table arrangement so it's easy for people. We didn't use number for tables, but rather mountain ranges and rivers throughout Montana so a "map" was a must.

The last wedding I went to they had it set up by table, and I felt like it took a lot longer for us to find our names because everyone else was gathered around trying to figure it out too. But they had a pretty big wedding so there was a ton of tables to sort through. Definitely alphabetical!

I think the consensus is clear.

Funny story -- My sister-in law did hers by table. However, there weren't table numbers -- they were silhouettes of different birds, and they all kind of look the same. Since my husband was in the wedding he was at the head table, but he was able to scope the scene and find my place with the rest of the family ahead of time.

That is good! I was thinking table and wondering how it was such a mess in my head. I am not sure why I didn't think of this option before. Thanks for the post.

Wow I did table number and now I feel like an asshole lol

I'm doing by table, alphabetically. We are doing table terms instead of numbers. And not assigning seats.

We will have about 10 tables. I can see how Alpha listing will be easier to find

I did table numbers, each table was a listed on seperate cards on a mirror. Most weddings I've been to have been by table. So either is fine as long as both are done clearly.

I blame Pinterest for the Table # seating charts. They look so awesome; but I'm Team Alphabetical.
