Searching for Wedding Venue Rental Home

Hello everyone! I am searching for rental home properties where we could stay and host our wedding ceremony and reception. As you may know finding venues can be an expensive task and I am looking to save money the best we can. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated! I am looking for places in North Carolina!

    Have you looked into AirBNB or VRBOs? Also, google Mountain Cabin rentals. You can usually find places that are large enough to host weddings.

    Yes! I’m having a hard time looking at air bnb just due to them not having the filter to display suitable for events because of COVID but I will definitely check out vrbo!! Thank you!

    Definitely google NC cabin rentals. We’ve rented 10-15 bedroom homes for our corporate events in TN, but I know they have them in NC too

    A month or two ago Airbnb actually changed their policy to ban all weddings/events/etc. at any of their properties (because of Covid risk...), so that might be why you're having trouble filtering for properties where you can host an event. You might have better luck with a different organization.

    It’s so difficult!!! I actually started looking in Charleston and santee area. I found a venue I think we might go with at the old santee canal park for $700

    Not sure where exactly you're looking, but some rental sites specifically have "wedding/event" approved rental properties - i.e. this rental site based in Asheville: https://www.yondervacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/event-properties/

    They have some incredible homes for backyard weddings!!
