Scared of wearing heels.

I've never been good at walking in them. And since right now I am not walking at all, I am so scared! I feel like I need tot take classes whenever I am able, just to strap some on. I would like to walk down the aisle without wobbling! And all the nice heels are so high! What to do what to do!?

Oh no! I hope everything works out for you.

In that case, I would definitely stick with flats - they make such cute ones - I know I saw another thread on a different site, where the lady took little gems and used some super duper glue and did pearls & gems. They looked super cute.

Let me know if you want me to search for that thread and i can PM you it...

Thanks guys. Hopefully everything WILL work out! But at least I am planning the wedding again. That's the important part! Haha.

I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't walk the aisle with some kind of heel. My FH is so much taller than me! Haha. (I am just short in general though! 5'3".)

Will you have time to practice around your house before the big day? Hopefully you will find the perfect pair that you can walk in. Good luck!

Well, I hopefully will. But who knows, I could be rolling down the aisle. (Though, I would rather not.. and am trying to plan the date after I get out of the wheelchair.)

If you can't practice, don't do it! go for a kitten heels, kitten wedges, or pretty ballet flats

Have you considered wearing wedges. They will give you some height but still keep you steady on your feet. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Precisely why I will be in flats. I have never been one for heels, so, even though some people say that FH and i will look funny next to each other (he's 6' and I'm 5'2"), that's how everyone has seen us for almost seven years anyhow. There is no rule saying all brides must wear heels. Do what you're comfortable with.

I wore slippers so I couldn't fall AND I was comfy for the reception, but that's just me

I'm like a lot, I'd break my neck if I wore heels...and then I'd look like a penguin trying to walk in them!

I went with cowboy boots Smiley smile

Wear what you are comfortable in! Hope you can get out of the wheelchair soon!

So don't. Wear flats, sneakers- heck, go barefoot! Whatever floats your boat. IMO your shoes can make or break a long day/ night, so do what makes you feel comfortable.
