When do I send out save the dates?

    6 to 8 months before your wedding date. If it's a DW 8 to 12 months out.

    Typically it's 6-8mo. . . Depending on how far the majority of your guests may have to travel, you could add some extra time

    We sent ours out 9 months before. My wedding is in September and I sent them out in December right before the holidays. I did this so people had our STD for the beginning of the year when planning vacations for 2019. A lot of mine and FH families go on vacation in the later summer/early fall which is exactly when our wedding is so I wanted to make sure they received the STD before they made their vacation plans for 2019.

    We sent ours 10 months out, we have a lot of out of state guests.
