Save the Dates - Picture vs. No Picture

I'm debating on whether I should do Save the Dates with pictures on them or with none, just something that goes with the theme of our wedding. I have to start ordering soon, since I am having a destination wedding so won't be sending them out six months in advance, but earlier. What did everyone...

What did everyone else chose to do?

Thanks in advance.

We did a picture on our Save the Dates to use our engagement pictures for something! haha! Although the picture I chose doesn't show our faces, so I'm a little disappointed I didn't pick different pose.

We did a picture and I love it because all of our friends and family put them up on their fridge and every once in a while I'll get a Snapchat from someone saying how excited they are!

We used VistaPrint and decided to do a picture, since the price wasn't a concern. We took a good one on Easter that we really liked (spoiler: it's also my avatar) and went with it.

I'm thinking we'll do photos.. I have a very sentimental family who collects everything, so I think they'll appreciate the keepsake.

No pics, but only because we haven't done our e pics yet. We just hired a photographer so we wouldn't of had them back in time.

We had a e-pic on our std but that's because we knew we didn't want any pics on our invites.

I will be doing a picture with my STD. I have also seen beautiful ones without pictures. I think it just really depends on what you like.

I did no pics and everyone loved them. I chose the casual route and didn't match them to my invites.

We wanted to use some epics! We got a lot of compliments on our magnets.

No picture for us! We really didn’t want to do an engagement shoot, and already knew dark green would be our main color.

I had the same question,so thank you for posting it.

My question has an added layer though so any advice would be certain helpful.

My side of the family has past away in recent years... remaining are my Grandparents and they won't be able to make a destination wedding.

My Fiance has a small family also and they live in other states. I have only met his parents but none of his extended family. Our guest list is about 22.

Considering the above would you have pictures on your save the dates or not?
We haven't taken engagement photos and probably won't because we want to put more money into the wedding-moon.

Thanks in advance to all the Brides (past and present)for your advice!
