Help with how to address save the dates . Everyone who is single will get a plus one but do I address it to the person and also write plus guest or just address it to mr. John Smith ?

Also no kids so for husband and wife do I just do mr and mrs John Smith ?

Put the person name and Guest if they aren’t married: example - John Smith and Guest

if they are married put Mr. and Mrs. John Smith or Mr and Mrs Smith

You don't have to mention plus ones on save the dates. If you have lots of out of town guests or are having an out of town wedding and want people to know that they will have a plus one, yes, you would say "John Smith & Guest." That is also the proper wording for a couple and not their children.

I think it’s important to put and guest on the save the date. Because if I’m making plans especially travel plans I need to know if I can bring someone or not.

    Hi there Jaclyn!

As the PPs mentioned, you don’t have to specify whether or not people have a plus one on your STDs, however, if you want to, it would be Mr. John Smith and Guest.

You’re totally correct! If you’re inviting a husband and wife, but no kids, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith is the correct way.

This WeddingWire article is super detailed on addressing envelopes, you should save it for again encase you need to reference it - Envelope Addressing Etiquette.

How many save the dates are you sending out?
