Save the Date wording

Alex, on January 14, 2020 at 11:16 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
I’m planning to send electronic save the dates for our wedding. It’s our free, environmentally friendly option. Ideally we wanted to send them this way because we don’t have the home addresses of 95% of the people on our guest list, so we wanted to somehow say “please reply to this save the date with your address for a formal invitation to follow.”
Thanks 😊

You can include a link to an address collection form, via Google Forms or something similar.

We used Postables - which is like an online address book that provides you a link for people to click and enter their information themselves. It was amazing we got almost all addresses we needed for 280 people in minutes. I know this doesn’t really help your question on wording, but sounds like it would be the perfect thing for digital STDs!

    Hey there, Alex!

You could totally add the link to a Google Form or Postables address and ask them to send along their postal addresses via those.

Something simple such as "Formal invitation to follow. Please forward along your postal address by ......" would work!
