Save the date vs wedding invitations?

Sfam, on July 6, 2019 at 2:14 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
We’re getting married in 5 months. We haven’t announced the date we’re going to marry officially. But it’s a small wedding (20 people) and I was wondering , do we still need to send out our “save the date” cards? Or can we just hand out our wedding invitation cards instead, it’ll be our main family like parents, siblings and grandparents. We’re having a small wedding at a wedding chapel/court room ! ❤️💍👰🏻🤵🏼💍❤️

And a month after our wedding. We’re having a celebration with the rest of the family, which we’ll send another invitation but a “You’re Invited!” Card.

    I’d say just do invitations.

I agree with Courtney - because of time, skip Save the Dates and send only invitations!

I agree with PP. No need for save the dates, especially if you've told your guests the date. Invitations will suffice!

Save the dates are not necessary. Just send an actual invitation.

I think the latest you send save the dates normally is 6 months out, so I'd probably just send invites sooner.

I would say to just skip the save the dates, and just do invitations. We planned a wedding quickly, as well, and we did email save-to-dates.
