It seems as though every bridal fabric has it's reign in fashion but none go completely out of style. It usually vacillates back and forth between lace and satin. Right now, the trend is lace but satin never be "old-fashioned." It just isn't trending right now.

these are some pretty dresses! I hate satin and couldn't think of the word so when the consultant showed me a satin dress I was like "oh no, I don't like the really smooth look."

I have a satin dress as well..you don't see them often but every satin dress I've seen is a classic gown.
I also have pockets..it's pretty awesome! Lol

Lol not a flattering face but good view if the dress! And it has pockets! Woot woot! I absolutely fell in love with the look of the satin gowns, I just felt like they offered something more and yours is totally gorgeous!

My dress is the exact opposite of everything i thought i wanted. It's fuller, white, satin, rouching. I thought I wanted lace, off white, and less full.

No way! It's classic and beautiful! I feel like mine is sometimes "too conservative" but that's only because all I see is strapless and/or mermaid. But I love my dress so who cares.
