Sandos Playacar Wedding Experiences

So not a personal experience but I stayed at Sandos Playacar last February and a wedding took place while we were there.

First, the resort is lovely and the segregated adults only areas are great if that’s what you’re looking for. We got to know many of the bartenders, managers and other employees who are so nice and treat you well if you get to know them.

While on that trip we attended a wedding at a Sandals resort. Don’t get me wrong, the Sandals resort was definitely more upscale in terms of looks, food quality, etc (you definitely get what you pay for).

I saw saw nothing wrong with those same items and didn’t feel like we were getting ripped off in the slightest at Sandos.

Also, the wedding ceremony at Sandals was right in the entryway for all guests to the beach. Beach chairs were set up right next to the ceremony seating and because the beach was so short, people were walking right behind the altar.

This is where Sandos rocked it, the ceremony was further down the beach towards a peninsula which had no other hotels built and away from all of the guests and beach chairs and hoopla. The setup was beautiful (from afar) and seemed more secluded/isolated which i’m Sure made the ceremony seem more intimate. Good luck!!

Following this thread! We chose this resort for our wedding in October and I am also curious about the same things. From what I’ve heard it’s a great resort at an affordable price

Yea Geraldine, I've heard great reviews and the price point and location was the reason we chose this resort. Makes our lives easier to not think of every single detail. Stress is the last thing I need to have for our special day.

Did you end up booking Sandos Playacar? We are in the process of trying to book for December 2020! Love to hear any feedback!
