Sandals Resort Honeymoon??

I just got back from Sandals Grande Lucian and we had to stop at La Toc often to pick up guests on the way to excursions. Sandals will treat you like royalty, especially in st Lucia. I will say that the general consensus is that La Toc is pretty outdated (not dirty or unkept). It’s also a golf resort, so they spend a lot of funds/resources on that side of things. It appeared to be a beautiful resort, it’s just not on the beach, more on the mountain side. And quite a long drive from the airport (over an hour). But really, if you’re just looking to relax, and be pampered, sandals is a great place to do it. If you look for some adventure, I’d highly suggest looking into a couple excursions while you’re there.

I would recommend looking at the Sandals La Toc WeddingWire profile as you can check out the customer reviews there also. It might help you get a feel for what the resort is like.

View Quoted Comment Without excursions it could be kind of boring. I mean I love just laying by the pool or on the beach all day but my husband isn’t such a fan. He would rather be going and exploring, and there’s not much to explore. Theres plenty to do though, swim, lay out, drink, and a few games (croquet, ping pong, a chess board). And then on the water side there’s a TON of water sports/activities included. But if you’re interested in actually seeing the island I’d recommend an excursion. Overall though, it was a great getaway.
