Sandals Honeymoon??? EST. 5k Budget

My best friend went to the one in Exuma, Bahamas for her honeymoon, for a week and LOVED IT! She was able to swim with sharks on one excursion there and with pigs (yes pigs, give it a quick google) and had a great time.

All inclusive are very nice, but you have to want a low key, relaxing honeymoon. We've done a few vacations to all inclusive a in DR (check out the Royalton, it's new and beautiful) and it's very relaxing, very nice.

FH and I just booked our honeymoon at the Sandals resort in St.Lucia called the Grand Regions La Toc or something along those lines. They were having a 65% off sale, so we were able to get a really great deal for much cheaper like 24 hour butler service and an ocean view! I've heard nothing but amazing things about the resorts. In my opinion, they are the top of the all inclusives. I have never been, but I can let you know end of September!

We are going to Sandals Whitehouse for our honeymoon. FSIL and her husband went and said it was amazing! Don't worry too much about the reviews because you have to experience it for yourself!

My cousin went to Sandals Jamaica (not sure which one) and absolutely loved it. We were about to book Sandals St. Lucia La Toc, and after hearing about her experience we sealed the deal. She has nothing but amazing things to say about it. I've also had a few friends do Sandals and I haven't had a single one say they didn't love it. We started with the same budget as yours, but wanted a private pool so ended up closer to $7000 for 1 week at Sandals and first class flights. But $5000 was DEFINITELY doable.

We are going to Sandals Ochi in Jamaica. There was a bride on here who also went there on their HM and she loved it! I am so excited to go.

Hello Melanie, Sandals is a wonderful option, but do not feel like it is your ONLY honeymoon option. There are several all inclusive properties that are both honeymoon worthy and may do a better job meeting your budget criteria.

We loved Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica! It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing, and there was plenty to do. The resort is the only one on the beach, so the seclusion is nice as well.

I stayed at a sandals for the honeymoon on my first marriage (also got married there). It was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. We had a private pool, butler, unlimited alcohol in our rooms, & reservations to different restaurants every night (one night we even traveled to a different sandals about 30 minutes away for a hibachi dinner). I cannot imagine it being horrible for anyone. If you can afford it, I'd say do it!!!!!

My parents went to the Grenada one and they said it was one of the best vacations they have ever taken (which is a lot, they go on 2-3 per year)

We booked our honeymoon to Sandals in the Bahamas. They were having a great sale and we spent way less than $5K. I would wait until they are having a sale because you can get at least 50% off when the sale is happening.
